WELCOME TO NOSTALGIC NESTINGS ...
A step into the past. Where nesting homes are created
and inspired by places of nostalgia that I visit and
places in my home town.
It is my hopes that historical structures be preserved
so that may be treasured by generation after
generation. My Nostalgic Nestings allow you the
opportunity to own a nesting home that resembles a
place you love. To be admired for years.
Each nesting home is handcrafted and hand painted
with many hours of devotion and creativity. Many of
my pieces are commissioned by customers who wish
to have a replica of their favorite house, church or
business.
All of them are nesting "homes". Some are both a
home and a feeder. Sometimes the design will
determine if they can be both. The feeders have a roof
but I also use screen on the bottom should water enter
the seed holder.
All of my nesting homes have a rusty tin roof that
make them durable and give that antique appeal.
Small add on parts are pegged for stability. I custom
design, cut and hand paint each piece. They are
sprayed with an outdoor sealer to protect and seal the
paint against the elements....
The nesting homes can be mounted on a post, sit in a
garden, adorn a peaceful country porch or simply
decorate your living space.
